Urea 46 Granular Fertilizer Supplier
Urea 46 Granular Fertilizer Overview
Urea 46 granular fertilizer also designated 46-0-0 is the most concentrated solid nitrogen fertilizer commercially available, containing a minimum of 46% nitrogen by weight with zero phosphate and zero potassium.
Chemically known as carbamide (CO(NH₂)₂), urea is synthesized by reacting ammonia with carbon dioxide under high pressure in the Haber-Bosch urea reactor loop, producing a liquid urea melt that is then processed into solid form through granulation.
In the granulation process, the urea melt is built up into dense, durable, uniformly sized pellets using a rotating drum or pan granulator, typically with a small amount of conditioning agent added to improve granule integrity and reduce caking during storage and transport.
The result is a white, round-to-oval granule of consistent particle size, high solubility, and excellent nitrogen content making urea 46 granular the preferred nitrogen source for bulk agricultural application, fertilizer blending, and direct top-dressing across a wide range of crop production systems worldwide.

Urea 46 Granular Fertilizer Suppliers FAQ
Urea 46 granular fertilizer is a concentrated solid nitrogen fertilizer containing a minimum of 46% nitrogen by weight, with zero phosphate (P₂O₅) and zero potassium (K₂O) hence the NPK designation 46-0-0. It is produced by reacting ammonia with carbon dioxide to form urea, which is then granulated into uniform white pellets of 2.0–4.5 mm diameter. It is the most concentrated solid nitrogen fertilizer commercially available and the most widely traded nitrogen fertilizer globally.
Our urea 46 granular carries nitrogen content ≥46.0%, biuret ≤1.5%, and moisture ≤0.5%, with granule size 2.0–4.5 mm (≥90% within range), Size Guide Number (SGN) 240–320, and bulk density 750–805 kg/m³. The product is chloride-free with conditioning agent at 0.3%–1.6%. All parameters are confirmed by independent Certificate of Analysis per shipment lot.
Standard packaging is 25 kg or 50 kg woven polypropylene bags with inner polyethylene moisture barrier liners. One-tonne FIBC big-bags (500–1000 kg) are available for bulk buyers. A 20-foot ISO container holds approximately 25–27 MT of bagged urea; a 40-foot container holds 50–60 MT. Packaging is moisture-protected and fumigation certificates are provided where required by the destination country.
Yes. Ikutha Forge Company Limited exports urea 46 granular fertilizer to buyers across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America under FOB, CIF, and CFR shipping terms. Urea is not classified as a dangerous good under IMDG, IATA, or ADR, simplifying export documentation. Every shipment includes the Certificate of Analysis, certificate of origin, phytosanitary/fumigation certificate where applicable, packing list, commercial invoice, and bill of lading.
